Remember those darn Magic Eye books? You'd sit there with your eyes crossed, giving yourself a headache and finally a 3-d picture would magically jump out of the page.

Well, I thought they were pretty cool, and I wanted to know how they worked, so one day in 1993 I sat down at my computer and figured it out. The result is a program which allows you to make your own stereograms.

This program is really far from finished, and is only suitable for those who are comfortable with a command-line interface, but it does work.
